In sport as in life, BNP Paribas Real Estate continues to invest in relationships with customers. The company has chosen to sponsor the following: Architecture & Heritage, Education & Culture, Environment & Sustainable City, Solidarity & Health, Sports. Sports share values with BNP Paribas Real Estate's CSR commitments and play a major role in the social fabric of cities and nations.

The promotion of sport and the values of living in a society

For many years, BNP Paribas Real Estate has been supporting sports associations and clubs and promoting sporting values. The company is determined to support and encourage local initiatives and nurture positive values: fraternity, solidarity, tolerance, team spirit, excellence, loyalty and respect.

Most sports clubs engage young people in neighbourhoods and cities and give them a taste for discipline and a sense of community. This not only promotes good health, but also understanding and respect for others and the environment. These concepts and values are critical to building the world of tomorrow, particularly in the face of climate and societal challenges that require cohesion and international efforts.

Supporting sport also means defending inclusiveness, for example by supporting the Football Club de Rueil-Malmaison's women's team. Sadly, women's sport has been neglected for too long, and it is a vital part of the fight for gender equality and parity.

Impact in cities and local areas: We support clubs involved in the local area's socio-economic fabric

For example: Bagneux Olympic Multisport Club, Pays d'Aix Université Handball team, Union Sportive d'Ivry, Rugby de Gennevilliers, Basket d'Antibes. Supporting them is part of BNP Paribas Real Estate's CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) approach to energising local areas and consolidating regional networks. All these clubs provide positive notoriety by displaying strong values, such as a powerful team spirit.

Thanks to their skills and their results, some of these clubs contribute to the brand image and influence of the city and local area where they are located.

Some may have an impact that reaches beyond their city and shine internationally. For example, BNP Paribas Real Estate supports Club Étoiles, the first private swimming club in France, which aims to take its swimmers to the highest international level, including the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

Getting involved locally: BNP Paribas Real Estate supports projects that change everyday life

BNP Paribas Real Estate employees also promote these values by participating in charitable races sponsored by the company since 2016. Some of the initiatives include: Imagine For Margo, a race to promote the fight against childhood cancer, Solirun, a race to raise funds for the Habitat et Humanisme charity that provides housing and promotes the integration of needy people, and Special Olympic, a race dedicated to showcasing how people with mental disabilities can find fulfilment through sport.

Through these initiatives and sponsorship, BNP Paribas Real Estate helps to support sports clubs and further their goals. And beyond sport, for the last several years, the company has been supporting a number of other initiatives related to culture, education, heritage, solidarity and the environment. This policy is in line with the company's goals and CSR commitments, which aim to invest in projects that can tackle the major challenges of our society.
