Catherine Papillon began her career at Atisreal Auguste-Thouard in 1989, where she held various positions in the Communication Marketing department before taking over as Director in 1999.

In 2005, BNP Paribas Real Estate acquired Atisreal. Catherine then became Director of Communication France, followed in 2010 by Director of International Communication and CSR, while continuing to perform her duties in France.

She was appointed International Director of Sustainable Development/CSR in 2016, in charge of defining BNP Paribas Real Estate's CSR strategy in its economic, environmental and social dimensions and its deployment in the company's various businesses and functions.

Education

Catherine Papillon holds a Master's degree in Modern Literature from Paris IV - La Sorbonne and a post-graduate degree in Information Sciences (Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers).

In 2016 she attended the programme of the Palladio Institute of Higher Studies on Real Estate and the City, (a general interest think tank on the real estate industry and city construction) focused on: "The City of Tomorrow in the Age of Societal Responsibility".

In 2019 she graduated from the Cambridge Institute for Sustainable Leadership.

Catherine Papillon is the recipient of the 2019 Golden Stone of Innovation. (Immoweek).

Professional activities

Catherine Papillon is a member of the “Cercle des Femmes de l'Immobilier”, and Treasurer of the association “1 immeuble 1 œuvre”. She also represents BNP Paribas Real Estate in various associations and bodies related to sustainable real estate: Alliance HQE France GBC, BBCA, IFPEB, Circolab, CIBI, Construction 21.

Personal commitment, volunteer work with associations

Founding member of “Solid'Office l'immobilier tertiaire solidaire”, an association that provides job seekers with workstations in co-working spaces. She is also a director of Cojob, which runs the Solid'workers community.
