BNP Paribas Real Estate has expanded the coverage of its commercial real estate services through the signing of two new alliance agreements with Newsec in Denmark and Worx in Portugal, based in Copenhagen and Lisbon, respectively.

Already a partner of Newsec in six Scandinavian countries (Norway, Sweden, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia) following the alliance contract signed in 2012, BNP Paribas Real Estate now offers comprehensive coverage of Scandinavia by offering its clients its knowledge of the Danish market in the Transaction, Consultancy, Valuation and Property Management business lines. The Danish office, directed by Henrik Lyngskjold, has 35 employees. Newsec, created in 1994 with its headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden, is the largest commercial real estate service provider in Scandinavia, with 750 employees.

The partnership concluded with Worx means that BNP Paribas Real Estate now covers the Portuguese market. Created in 1996 and directed by Pedro Rutkowski, Worx is the largest RICS-certified company in Portugal, ensuring it enjoys significant market recognition.
A specialist in Transactions, Consultancy, Valuation, Project Development and Property Management, Worx covers the entire range of commercial premises, including offices, shops, hotels and light industrial premises.

"In response to the interest shown by our local and international clients in the economic potential that these two markets present, we have decided to team up with two recognised real estate players in Newsec and Worx to support our clients in these countries. BNP Paribas Real Estate's Alliances network now represents more than 3,300 employees in 21 countries, along with the 3,800 employees present in our 16 direct sites," said Florence Hesse, Head of International Alliances at BNP Paribas Real Estate.
