Professional background
In September 2026, Guillaume Sottil joined the Executive Board of BNP Paribas Real Estate as Global Head of Business Development. This new direction brings together several teams dedicated to accelerating the company’s growth and supporting strategic clients: Marketing, Communications, Research, Innovation and new growth drivers, Sustainability/CSR, as well as the Corporate Services and International Investment Group (IIG) client coverage teams.
Guillaume Sottil began his career in 2009 in investment banking at Rothschild in London. In 2012, he joined Change Capital Partners, a UK-based private equity fund, then he moved to CBRE in 2015 as Director of Corporate Development and Strategy for the EMEA region.
Guillaume Sottil joined BNP Paribas Real Estate in 2018 as Head of the Corporate Development team, overseeing all of the company's external growth projects, competitive intelligence, strategic planning, and the Management Board's general secretariat. More recently, he led the transformation of our property development activities and the integration of BNP Paribas REIM into BNP Paribas Asset Management following the acquisition of AXA Investment Managers.
