Internal Communications Manager


The role

  • Internal Communications Manager
  • Report directly to Head of Corporate PR and Communications
  • Define and develop the internal communication strategy
  • Strengthen and support the culture of company through a period of change
  • Review the effectiveness of our existing communications tools and propose new and efficient mediums of communication
  • Accompany key internal spokespeople or managers in their internal communication
  • Work closely with BNP Paribas Real Estate in Paris, and BNP Paribas Group in UK 

Key deliverables

·    Define annual internal communication roadmaps

·    Define internal audiences mapping and set-up dedicated action plans using

    different tools

·    Content driven, identify all topics and speaking opportunities for internal

    speakers, and oversee the internal newsletters, videos and presentations as

    well as internal events

·    Actively support the business change for newco & culture, innovation

·    Review internal comms tools and propose more efficient methods of

    dissemination or tools

·    Measure effectiveness and engagement with comms campaigns and with the

    business generally

·    Work :

1/ with BNPPRE’s central Internal Communications team in Paris and international communications network to ensure the flow of internal news

between countries and successes.

2/ closely with BNP Paribas Group Internal Comms UK in order to share common objectives and contents for internal comms

Support the D&I agenda, CSR and other major workgroups for internal engagement

·     Continually think of new ways to ensure people feel informed about the company, strategy, changes, successes and other key workstreams

·     Present dashboard of success monthly for inclusion into quarterly board packs


Person specification

Essential qualifications

·    Educated to degree level

·    Postgraduate marketing/communication degree and/or CIM qualification



Essential experience

  • Demonstrable record of delivery in professional services (ideally real estate) with a strong communications background
  • Previous experience and a strong understanding of internal communications and tools
  • Excellent writing experience for internal audiences
  • Strong understanding of the real estate market and sectors within or ability to learn extremely quickly is essential
