Associate Director FTC 12 Months


The role


·     Manage and drive the company wide key account programme

·     Manage and drive specific sector groups that link directly into the key account programme – currently Energy and Transport and Infrastructure

·     Work in conjunction with the rest of the business development team, marketing and research teams to drive common purpose company wide objectives

·     Understand business strategy to work in line and adapt to business initiatives


Key deliverables


·     Manage and co-ordinate all Key Account Management (KAM’s) in conjunction with Heads of Business lines and the relevant account managers, as appropriate in their client targeting and business development initiatives

·     Work with the commercial director and wider business development team to understand the business development objectives and link in where necessary

·     Develop internal and external relationships in order to grow business from key accounts against agreed growth expectations

·     Link in with bank and european client network where appropriate to link up joint key and strategic accounts

·     Continually review the key account process to review and develop the strategy on each individual client account as well as the overall programme

·     Understand the company wide sector strategy and actively drive the sectors strategically linked to the key accounts such as the Energy group and Transport and Infrastructure

·     Work closely with the marketing team to ensure the key accounts are communicated effectively across the business

·     Utilise the company CRM system 2020 to record all key account and other client information

·     Gain a good understanding of the business as a whole and what the different areas of the business can offer our clients

·     Drive with the key account teams a clear feedback programme with our external provider

      Acritas and utilise the responses to form action plans and a client strategy

·     Manages within budget and minimises overhead spend

·     Manages existing client relationships.

·     Identifies and helps progress new business opportunities both in and outside own discipline

·     Able to work on a broad range of projects where necessary

·     Specialist in one aspect of own discipline. Broad knowledge of principles and practices of related disciplines

·     Enhances BNP Paribas Real Estate‘s reputation through successful communication

·     Builds own network internally and externally



·     Recognised senior specialist who shares knowledge and advises others

·     Works with and develops junior employees

·     Coaching/mentoring of others

Essential qualifications

·    Educated to degree level


Essential experience

·    Industry knowledge and experience

·    Account Management experience

·    Client focussed role

·    Used to working towards targets and driving to achieve these

·    Previous experience of Business development with evidence of performance
