Proximity
« It’s vital to work side by side with our customers — long term. I think that ties in with innovation. Because you can’t do what your customers want you to do if you don’t know them well and really understand the issues they are dealing with. So, as I see it, proximity means coming up with the solutions to the problems that our customers are trying to solve. The Group’s extensive portfolio of services — and management’s ability to create new products — is really important in that sense. In practice, in our relation with institutional and retail investors, tenants, potential asset buyers or sellers, proximity means talking and listening a lot, often, by phone, by e-mail, during meetings. It’s all about the ability to establish and maintain human relations. In Italy, we also have a free call centre for our unit holders (mainly retail) to keep them up to date with news about our funds, changes in the market, our company, etc. We have decided to provide a dedicated team to answer all our customers’ questions. We think that’s really important. »
